Bugz Family Playpark
If you have kids aged 2-10, they’ll love a day at Bugz Family Playpark. There’s a huge outdoor playground, and a great indoor play area for the kids to enjoy, including; jumping castles, rowing boats, pedal cars, mini tractor rides, and more.
Putt Putt Golf Course
Children and adults alike will love playing golf at the Putt Putt golf course. There’s plenty of fun to be had on the two 18 hole courses, and the more people you take along to play the cheaper it’ll be. There are snacks available to buy on site so your little ones don’t have to go hungry, and if you manage to score a hole in one on the last game you could even treat them to another round at a discounted price.
Ratanga Junction has previously been labelled, “The Wildest Place in Africa”, and it doesn’t disappoint. There are both child only rides and family rides so you can have some fun too – beware, some of these rides are really white knuckle and not for the faint hearted! The park is marvellously landscaped, plus there are a range of restaurants for you to have a proper, sit down, family meal. You could easily spend the whole day here!
This place is a big indoor and outdoor play area, where your kids can enjoy a few hours on the unique play equipment. If it’s a special occasion, you could even have a party thrown for your child here. Don’t worry if you have a child with a disability; Planet Kids is the first indoor play and activity centre in South Africa to care for children with disabilities.
Much like the film based on a true story, Cool Runnings in South Africa gives kids the opportunity to race down a 1.25 km toboggan track up to speeds of 40 km per hour. The pulley automatically takes you to the top of the hill and then you’re ready to go! This activity is totally safe and fun for everyone.
This is a great place to visit for the outdoorsy kind of family. Helderberg farm has everything you need for a fun and adventurous day outdoors, including; off-road go karts, paintball combat games, and strawberry picking. When you’ve worked up an appetite exploring you can then have something nice to eat in the pretty tea garden.
Now you know the kinds of things you can do, you need to choose a great place to stay – Camps Bay villas are a great option if you want relaxation, privacy, and somewhere you can have full watch over your kids!
